Today we finished the heuristics evaluation of 4 UK government websites. This contract was a 2 week engagement. The client was good and we had a nice time working on this business tie up. There was a little confusion in the starting as it was a lump-sum contract. The best part of the websites are that few of them were well designed and few of them were not.

The final report was send in a word document as client does not want a presentation. The little catch here is, presentation is more easy to work with than word document, specially while arranging the images.

Data.gov.uk  website was the best in design, i liked the information architecture and the color scheme.

Cabinet office the best section i liked where each members details and profile was present.

Criminal cases review commission website has good color scheme. I like it.
